Representative projects for our major service areas –
Allocator, Waste-in Database, Historical Forensics – SESCO Transformer Site, San Angelo, Texas. On behalf of a PRP Group, CRC developed an allocation model and framework used in the successful recovery of costs from non-Group members and settlement among Group members. The allocation process included the development of an allocation framework capable of accommodating various input criteria. In working with PRP Group members, a final allocation framework was completed for use in both the final allocation and a large de minimis settlement.
Expert Witness, Allocation, Historical Forensics – Hobart Corporation, et al., v. The Dayton Power & Light Co., et al. Provided expert witness testimony that evaluated adverse parties’ allocation models of a former mixed-use former disposal and salvaging operation Site. An expert report was submitted addressing the application of site-specific facts and historical information to the proposed allocation models. Deposition in September, 2018. Trial scheduled 2020.
Expert Witness, Allocation, Historical Forensics – Georgia Pacific v. NCR, et. al. Provide expert testimony at deposition and two phases of trial regarding site nexus and waste volume analysis. Expert testimony evaluated historical forensic information to determine the role of parties in releasing hazardous substances contaminating river sediments. Trial testimony in 2013 and 2015.
